JAIS DVD RELEASEAfter ten years from the latest release Jais, the founders of this project are ready for a new release. The new DVD named "Dupa 10 Ani" is a live recording in the National Television Studios.The melodies and tasteful arrangements will reveal the new sound and understand what made them famous ten years ago. Believer is a journey that Jais is inviting you to join in a rewarding and cathartic experience.
Believer is a new production of Jais, a continuation of the direction developed by the singer Alina along with Sasi, the founder of this project and a few DJs in the past years. The music is blending independent post rock/alternative with ambient music, spiced with elements of jazz and blues. The collaboration between Alina and Sasi, incredible guitarist Zsolt Szabo (Survolaj,Baraka,Crossroads), and the original drummer of Jais, Levente Molnar (Survolaj,Baraka, Crossroads) completed by two versatile clasic/electonic/jazz musicians Teo Milea (piano/keys) and Petrica Ionutescu (trumpet/keys) opened new directions for live experiments without borders. The fullness and richness of the singer's voice completes the awesome beats and textures created by her music partners. Believer is a journey that Jais is inviting you to join in a rewarding and cathartic experience.

What should we expect from listening to these two albums?
Well, one of them is called "Serenity.” It is an acoustic project and our intention was to make a beautiful and relaxing album. It has an intimate feeling to it. There is a lot of space flowing through notes, and I kept my singing quite soft. The material is intended to be a pleasurable, calming ride and maybe a bit thoughtful, if you find it and want it. "Serenity" comes from the heart!"Believer" has a different approach. It was made for clubs, for groups of people that gather together. It has a more public message. People can dance and enjoy the rhythm, but in parallel they have a chance to hear me talk about God and hopes, as in the song "Believer", or my dramatic conflicts that I have with the world today, as in "Walls of Intolerance" or "Eva,” and even my personal "Prayer.” In a very well done musical arrangement of electronic sounds, "We'll celebrate the art of living!"

Jais downtempo album "Serenity"
Serenity is an acoustic down tempo album delivered by Jais with intimacy, passion, and dedication. This album encompasses a lot of sensuality and love. It's the kind of music that you can listen to during a cold winter, in front of the fireplace, relaxing with a glass of good wine in your hand. The expression of the soloist voice is deeply supported by the natural sound of acoustic instruments (double bass, a jazz drum kit, acoustic guitar, and piano).
